Hello and Welcome to Scruffy to Fluffy!

We are fully qualified dog groomers and guaranteed dog lovers who will care for your dog as much as you do.

We come to you at a convenient time to suit your lifestyle, whether it be at your home or work, day or night. All of the grooming takes place within the van, so there is no mess!

The grooming van is fully equipped to a high standard and is regularly checked to comply with safety and waste regulations.

The services we offer range from an express wash and dry to a full groom (please see our services page for prices). All breeds are welcome! if your particular breed is not listed, please call 07813 205952 for a price ☺

Unlike some salons we understand how hectic life can be, therefore evening appointments after 6pm can be arranged at NO additional cost!!

We currently cover most of Essex (such as Loughton, Chigwell, Barkingside, Ilford, Romford, Brentwood, Shenfield, Chelmsford, Wickford, Rayleigh etc) and East London (such as Chingford, South Woodford, Woodford Green etc) but being mobile means that we are not limited, so please call if you are outside of these areas and will try to accommodate you!

Services

As fully qualified dog groomers we offer the following services:

* Express Wash and Dry: Prices range from between £10 and £40 depending on the breed and the size of your dog.

* Full Groom (includes wash, dry, cut/clip, nail clipping and health check**). Please see prices below, if your breed is not listed, please call us as all breeds are welcome!

* Nail Clipping £5

* Specialised Hand Stripping is available, please call 07813 205952 for a price.

* Please note that should your dogs coat be severely matted, extra costs may be incurred, your groomer will advise you prior to the groom and/or cut.

* The same as above applies if your dog is found with fleas, as the groomer will need to cover the cost of the flea shampoo and the treatment of the grooming van to prevent infestation.

* We know how expensive grooming can be and therefore offer a 10% discount of the total cost should you have more than one dog.

* Should you need to reschedule, please try and let us know at least 24 hours prior to your appointment.

** A health check is carried out on all full grooms which includes the ears, nose, eyes, teeth and paws. The ears will be cleaned as a matter of course and treatment carried out if required. Customers can buy further treatment from the groomer if an ear infection is found.

* We now offer Pet Sitting Services, if you dont like the thought of putting your dog(s) into kennels while you have your well deserved holiday, then we can either stay in your home for the duration or the dog can be placed with an experienced dog loving family! Please call to discuss further.

Advice Dog grooming adviceGrooming should be introduced to a dog, if possible, as a puppy and they should always find this as a pleasurable experience and somewhere they love to go!We provide grooming for puppies but like to start by introducing them slowly and not to make them feel stressed, this should ideally be done every couple of weeks until the puppy is comfortable and can be introduced to a full groom. Please call 07813 205952 to speak to a groomer and discuss how this is best done. Prices are obviously discounted during this period.In between professional grooms, you should brush your dog with a high quality dog brush, suitable for their particular coat, to ensure that no mats occur and that undercoat is removed (if applicable), the following guidelines are dependent on the breed of the dog, (weekly, twice weekly, monthly or twice monthly). Your groomer will be able to advise you should your breed not be listed on our services page.A matted dog is an unhappy dog and can, in severe cases, cause nasty skin conditions as well as discomfort, regular grooming will prevent this from happening.Grass seeds are also problematic for long haired dogs, you should remove any grass seeds caught in the hair as soon as you see them, should a grass seed be left unattended, this can cause skin irritations and even burrow into the skin, after time this can affect a dogs organs!Dogs are prone to ear infections and therefore the ears should be checked and cleaned regularly. Should your dog have an infection and if caught quickly, there are a variety of treatments available at a low cost and without having to incur the cost of the vet bill!Should your dogs Anal Glands swell, please speak to your groomer as this is something they can usual help with, alternatively see your local vets, its a simple (but not very pleasant) procedure! Once emptied your dog will feel and act much happierBefore a groom it would be beneficial to both the dog and the groomer to take the dog for a long walk, this will make the dog less energetic and more importantly less likely to do their business whilst being groomed!!
